Hi there. I recently installed AC4 and it’s behaving oddly. Whenever my character moves, the camera shakes and stutters everywhere. It’s not an FPS issue—Frap shows me around 80 at the highest settings. It doesn’t seem to be a resolution problem either; I’ve tried various resolutions without success. I thought it might be tearing, but the shaking only happens when the character moves. It feels like the camera is jerking all over the place. Anyone else experience this? Do you know how to fix it? Thanks.

Which cards are involved and what configurations are used? Are you pushing performance limits? Have you explored windowed or borderless settings? This issue appears exclusively in this game.

This applies to console gaming by leveraging Frapst benchmark mode and the Frafs bench viewer to examine your frame times. Eliminate background tasks, disable VSync, and use a different window mode to observe stutters.

I'm working with an i5 4460 paired with an R9 280x and 8GB of Kingston RAM. My display is a 1280x1024 at 60Hz. I've tested various resolutions, settings, and modes like fullscreen, borderless, and windowed, but the issue persists. This is the only game that causes this problem.
