Join the discussions! Is this unusual with the keyboard shortcut? (Win+up arrow) Have you run SFC/DISM checks? Are your graphics drivers up to date?

It doesn't occur with shortcuts. I haven't performed a system scan yet, but I plan to do one after finishing work today. I question whether this will fix the problem, since it seems tied to the snap feature rather than general issues. I suspect if it were a broader system fault, it would also affect maximize and window settings. I have the latest GPU drivers installed. Right now I'm testing, and it appears related to windows being resized too large (to avoid elements leaving the screen). This doesn't happen when snapping a window smaller than my vertical monitor, but it does when the window reaches my main display size.

Interesting. The scans might detect faulty files and let you repair them. If not, I'd prefer using the shortcuts. Another choice is exploring FancyZones in Windows PowerToys for custom window tiling. I use it for my unique screen arrangement: two 27" 4K monitors stacked, plus a 34" 1440p ultra-wide one mounted sideways (neck movement is restricted). FancyZones helps me tile windows neatly at the edges. It requires some setup to configure, but it functions effectively. Just remember to set the border buffer to zero so no background shows through.
