I just changed my router setup by adding two Asus Tuf-AX5400 units, leaving my old RT-68U at the farthest corners of the house as mesh nodes. The connection is working well, but I’m stuck on linking my Nedis Smartlife devices (smartplugs and cameras) to the main Wi-Fi. Since my Android 11 phone can’t connect to the 2.4GHz band they need, what should I do?

You should use the phone app to let your IoT devices join the 2.4GHz network. Are both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks broadcasting the same SSID? If yes, consider setting up a distinct SSID for IoT on the 2.4GHz band or separate SSIDs for each frequency band.

I resolved the issue by disabling SmartConnect, changing the 5GHz network name, connecting everything, and then going back to SmartConnect.
