I have an unusual problem that's hard to understand. I recently changed my GPU from Asus ROG B550-F Gaming Wifi to a GIGABYTE B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2, while keeping all other details the same. My Ryzen 5 3600X with 32GB RAM (four 8GB modules) and Corsair Vengeance RAM 3070Ti. About a month after the GPU change, I enabled XMP profile 1. After that, boot time became extremely slow—post to OS took 20 seconds, then over 5 minutes to reach the post screen, followed by another 10 minutes to get to the operating system. I turned off XMP now and it works better, but I'm still puzzled about what's happening.

The memory speed is quite fast, but it might be causing issues because the CPU isn't able to process it quickly enough.

No, I haven't updated the BIOS or installed chipset drivers.

It turned out the problem was with gigabyte drivers. The files for the real motherboard were old on the gigabyte site, and some discussions on Reddit pointed to a newer version with genuine AMD drivers. Solution found! Share this fix with others facing the same issue—use the Gigabyte download link provided.
