Hello! Your computer freezes with a specific screen when you power it on or wake from sleep. It doesn’t happen every time, but when it does, you need to shut it down forcefully and restart. The machine seems brand new, and you’ve reinstalled Windows and the graphics drivers using ddu.

Sick desk lamp! Do you have a link to the product? It might be a faulty cable or the screen could be failing. Are there any patterns to this issue? For example, does it occur after a long gaming session when everything is warm and active, or is it more likely when the device has been idle for a while at room temperature? Apart from the Kernel Power 43/41 logs from the unclean shutdown, when it freezes you see lights on and fans spinning. Is the audio still playing? You're curious if the problem is just with the display or if the entire OS is freezing. One unusual test you could try is using the reboot command—press Win+r, type shutdown /g /t 0 /f. The /g option reboots and relaunches programs, while /t 0 makes it happen right away and /f forces a shutdown of anything running.

I refer to the cable's condition, its origin, and its age.

I received the lamp from Lidl. I believe it occurs when the PC is at room temperature. It never gets too hot, but it can get quite cold here—around 15 degrees Celsius. Or maybe it's just random. It doesn't happen when you're using the PC right after booting up or when waking from sleep. Should I try rearranging the two Display cables since I have two monitors with DP? I think one is 1.2 and the other is 1.4.

This monitor is configured as the default in Windows settings. The stripes are visible only on this first screen; the second monitor appears completely black.

Absolutely, begin there. It's easy to just purchase a fresh cable. They're inexpensive.
