I wondered about turning off write caching because you're using an APU. It uses system RAM as VRAM, so write caching might compete for memory bandwidth. I wasn't sure if that was the best approach.

I don't believe it will have a big impact, since when you play games (and avoid writing in the background) there won't be much activity at all. HOWEVER, most write chaches take up some memory to run. So it would be smart to clear them out. But with your 32GB this shouldn't be an issue for gaming.
