It's really tough to set up a PS3 on a PC. They might prefer using the PS4 instead.

You couldn’t even launch an emulator for PS3; some emulators consume more power than the device itself needs to play the games. In reality, I doubt a Titan X would work either due to the limitations of the console.

The link you received appears to be fake. There isn't an actual emulator for the PS3 available. The only genuine PS3 emulator currently developed is on GitHub: https://github.com/RPCS3/rpcs3. Regarding RPCS3, it primarily supports 2D games and struggles with 3D titles like The Last of Us.

A PS3 emulator would be great. I’d really like to experience those uncharted titles and The Last of Us without having to invest a lot of money in a new system.
