You're looking to enjoy Pokémon titles on your current setup. Check out available emulators that support these games. Your system should work with popular options like NES Emulator or older versions of the original platforms. Make sure to download the right version for Black, HeartGold, Platinum, and any DS ports you want to play.

The forum guidelines seem unclear about emulating consoles. For DS, there are just a few reliable options—generally two or three. Once you switch to PC, it works fine without any problems. Heavier systems like Wii, 3DS, and newer models can be tougher to run smoothly.

discussing emulation is fine, just asking about isos and stuff isnt (for obvious reasons) And i was thinking the same, there probably arent that many choices for specific emulators, and ds probably even runs on budget phones nowadays.

citra is a well-known ds emulator. Get one and manage to find roms from an unknown source. It’s unclear what you mean by saving games—usually you can save in-game and access those files with the emulator. Emulation of ds on standard cpus isn’t extremely demanding, so your processor should handle it easily. Your graphics card also provides more than enough power for native ds titles.

I purchased a USB N64 controller and set up an emulator for original Game Boy, NES, SNES, and N64 games. Most cartridges have worn out and can't save progress, which is why I turned to emulators. I don’t own the ROMs on my own systems, so I’m considering ROMS that are available elsewhere. Citra seems promising too—I think I can map the keys to my N64 controller. My goal is to play Hyrule Warriors on a 32-inch monitor.
