The top choice for running Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater on PC is a reliable PS2 emulator like NSE (NeoSim Emulator) or Parsec. These tools support the game’s original graphics and sound, allowing you to enjoy it smoothly.

I use this version for playing GTA Vice City Stories. It performs better on my PS2 slim compared to others.

The sole functional PS2 emulator available is PCSX2. Your system should handle MGS without any issues.

Developers are advancing consistently. The latest update from someone not part of the dev team happened two weeks ago. It looks like they need to explore the repository a bit more. THE MOMENT IS NEAR, BROTHER.
