Lately my screen would cut out unexpectedly, staying completely off until I powered it down and back on again. The issue kept getting worse, so I ended up swapping out the graphics card. Just yesterday I installed a new one—but nothing happened. Here’s what I have: AMD Ryzen 2600 Random Motherboard GTX 1660 Super (switched to AMD 7970) Random PSU.

I also attempted to replace the RAM but it didn’t help. The system won’t shut down via the power button on the case; I need to flip the switch on the power supply.

All things receive power, which means it’s unlikely to be the cause. The most likely next step might be replacing the motherboard or CPU.

I plan to upload it to YouTube to see how it performs, and I’ll let you know once I have results. I also think the PSU seems questionable, so if I need to swap the motherboard, I’ll opt for a modular one instead.

Update: It’s a BIOSTAR A320mh motherboard, I moved the Jumper Cables and took out the battery(for 10 minutes) the system still powers up but no display, and I still have to turn it off via power supply
