Hello everyone, I've been using Outlook (formerly Hotmail) for years without any issues. Recently, I've started receiving emails every day, sometimes twice a day, arriving late. I've looked into it but haven't found a fix. Could anyone explain why the messages arrive so late? I've also tried other programs like Mozilla Thunderbird and checked the Outlook website on outlook.com. Thanks in advance! -Gijs

The issue lies in the fact that you're relying on Outlook... (: Are you checking the email timestamps against the dates you received them?)

Consider reaching out to Outlook, as it seems like a problem on their side. This isn't acceptable for an email service provider.

Outlook functions well. Are your messages consistently updated or are they set to be sent at specific times?

I'm adjusting my emails by hand across both systems, yet the issue remains consistent everywhere I use them. The messages still arrive a day after they're sent. I don't understand why this happens.

It's conceivable they're being detained for some reason by the individuals who send your messages.

I would suggest removing your contact list from your PC and allowing it to refresh the data. I understand this occurs on multiple devices, but I’ll focus on resolving this issue step by step.
