Elite: Dangerous
Elite: Dangerous
I just noticed this highly popular title on Steam for $26—about 40% off at the time. It’s called Elite: Dangerous and looks promising based on the visuals. Without overthinking, I bought it impulsively. Quick question: Is downloading this game a good idea? Will I be disappointed? Is it worth the hype? Just wondering ;p
He mentioned a package with its DLC for $40, though the DLC alone would be $30. It sounds interesting if you enjoy space simulator MMO-style games.
Usually I'd explain how to get things up, but I haven't played it in about six months or so. Then it was pretty basic, not much to do. But if it's the same now, I'm not sure, though I think an expansion is coming. It seems intriguing at least, but I'm not really interested in spending 50 euros or 40 euros just to reach planets I can't fully explore.
Some individuals cast votes fearing they might later wish they hadn’t, without explaining their concerns.
I’ve never played it, yet I think it’s important to let the choice reflect that. I’d definitely consider the option of being completely overwhelmed in the poll, as that would be my response. While I haven’t tried it, I’m aware it could feel very intense for me.
I've tried it—it's incredible. The main aspects are: exploration, trading, and bounty hunting or fighting for your power. The graphics are stunning, particularly the black holes in a nebula look beautiful, and the sound engine is top-notch. For best results, use headphones and enjoy realistic physics if you have a joystick. Start with some beginner guides on YouTube to learn the basics, then dive into planetary exploration and base building.
