I’d confirm everything is set correctly before proceeding. Ensure the AIO is connected to the right headers and plugged in properly. If possible, swap out the pre-applied thermal compound for Arctis 5 Silver—it delivers superior performance compared to standard paste. Verify the cooler is installed accurately on the CPU; check alignment and mounting. For hook-style brackets, confirm they’re secured correctly. Make sure all screws are tight and there’s no film covering the block that should be removed. It seems unlikely you’d overheat under these conditions unless something went wrong.

All the aio plugs are securely connected, including the special connector for the fan hub. There was no plastic wrap. The heat sink is firmly and tightly fastened. I plan to use a different type of thermal paste next time.

In the bios note, mention that your temperatures decrease slightly before increasing sharply.

It means the system remains powered down even though it's set to boot from BIOS, possibly due to a malfunction or incorrect configuration.

The temperatures begin at 80 degrees, drop by about 5 degrees, and then rise to more than 100 degrees.

During your session in Bios, move swiftly to the fans and adjust their speed to a minimum of 40% when the temperature reaches 40°C, increasing to 100% at 60°C.

With all components secured and correctly set, the issue seems more likely tied to a restriction within the AIO rather than a problem with the pump itself.

You can identify the problem by checking the steps and sharing any error messages you see. If you describe your setup, I can help you troubleshoot further.

I keep mentioning the temperature drop around five degrees, followed by a jump above 100°C.

I'm sorry to hear that. The air mount brackets prevented proper contact between the CPU and the heat sink. Thank you for letting me know.
