When I power on my PC, the command prompt appears briefly, followed by Chrome launching and loading 'ooov.net', which then takes me to 'gamezdoka.org'. I'm unsure what to do next since I've already tried antivirus programs like Avast, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, SUPERAntiSpyware, and performed a System Restore, but nothing resolved the issue. Please let me know if you can assist further.

Open the Start menu and type in msconfig. Open it, select 'Boot' then choose 'Slick Safe Boot Apply' and restart the PC. This will boot your computer with only the necessary components. Next, run a malwarebytes scan to ensure your system is clean.

I noticed you mentioned testing Malwarebytes in safe mode and it confirmed your system was clean. I’ll proceed with HitmanPro and TDSSKiller to check further.

Completed testing both TDSSKiller and HitmanPro. TDSSKiller didn’t detect anything, while HitmanPro identified four issues, though the problem persisted after a restart. I also ran CCCleaner to check for lingering registry entries, but it didn’t resolve the issue either.

I employ Spybot, which detected more items than MalwareBytes during scans. Perhaps you could give it a try? You might want to check your startup folder for any unusual programs launching at boot.

I used a demo copy initially, then purchased an official version shortly after testing compatibility. I downloaded the pirated file last Sunday and have been using the genuine copy for the past week. The issue only appeared yesterday, which was six days after uninstalling the pirated file. I only referenced Farcry in that post, so it’s probably a strong suspect, though it seems unusual how noticeable it becomes after such a delay. Deleting the registry entry could be risky—consider backing up data first or researching safe removal methods.

Removing the registry item might fix the problem, though there could be additional entries involved. Have you attempted using AdwCleaner? https://toolslib.net/downloads/viewdownl...dwcleaner/ I recommend trying it first—it's effective at detecting adware that standard antivirus tools miss. If it doesn’t resolve your issue, deleting the registry entry might help.
