Hello everyone. I'm looking for advice on how to fully eliminate the vocal track from a song so it can be used as a Karaoke version. I've tried using Audacity following online guides, but it didn't give the result I expected. I want the melody to stay intact while removing the singing part completely. I'm not sure how to describe this clearly, but if you've worked with Audacity before, you probably understand why it's not the best solution. Thanks in advance! #Good software suggestions would be appreciated.

This process isn't feasible because a song is recorded as one continuous audio file, making it impossible to isolate individual instruments like vocals. Perfectly removing vocals requires separate tracks for each instrument, which only song producers typically possess. Eliminating vocals from a single track affects all frequencies within that range, altering the melody based on editing skill and time invested. It will never achieve perfect results.

In short, the process won’t work unless you use Multi-Track. Each instrument has its own channel, but since music is mixed into one track, removing vocals would ruin the song. It’s simple to eliminate other sounds, but vocals require a steady hum or similar consistent frequency. Varying notes and tones make it impossible to remove them.
