Consider upgrading to a Noctua NH-D15 cooler. Finding low-profile RAM that matches your DDR3 2666MHz Klevv Genuine specs is challenging, but you can still remove the heat spreaders from the RAM sticks without damaging them. It might be worth it if you're ready to make the change. Klevv Genuine images available.

Avoiding a heat spreader seems fine unless you boost the RAM. If it gets stuck badly, consider a direct connection or a very warm hairdryer. For those who prefer not to use one, you can find many universal options on eBay.

I have a hot gun ready for use. It seems removing the top part of the RAM might be enough—just unscrew the heat spreader and reattach it. I’ve also heard that RAM heat spreaders aren’t essential, so I’m considering skipping them. My goal is to overclock the RAM.

Sorry, those are DDR3 at 2666, man. You'll likely need a heatsink.

They really move quickly. Do you think they’ll definitely require heatsinks?

I think so, over 2133 probably has some sort of overclocking.

That’s the XMP setting listed there. It looks like Asus’ overclocking tool in BIOS might boost performance beyond that, possibly by around 70%. I think I’ll end up with some copper heatsinks and thermal tape.
