Elimina el ralentí no jugable en Metro Exodus
I received my brand new gaming setup just to experience the awful stutters and freezes in Metro Exodus. It ruined everything, I've tried all possible solutions but nothing seems to help. Could you assist me in eliminating this annoying stutter? It has truly made the game unplayable.
PC Specifications: Ryzen 7 3700X, Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite Adata XPG D30 (3200 MHz, 8GB ×2), Galax GeForce RTX 2070, Super Crucial 500GB SATA SSD, Antec Neptune 240mm AIO.
Before suggesting any fixes, I want to note a few things: My GPU, CPU, and motherboard's VRM temperatures stay around 60-70°C, which means it’s not caused by thermal throttling. I’ve confirmed the RAM is running in dual-channel mode at 3200 MHz. I also used Auto Dump RAM cache with an Empty Standby List; the cached memory clears every minute and is usually between 300–400MB or close to that. Yes, the game is installed on the SATA SSD. I’ve even attempted to cap frame rate with RTSS, but that didn’t work either. The DX11 and DX12 issues persist too.
I have a 144Hz FreeSync monitor with G-Sync enabled, which works perfectly with other titles. This problem only occurs with Metro Exodus. I’ve played RDR2, BFV, GTA V, Witcher3, and none of them had similar stuttering or freezing issues. Please help me out, we really need it!
Are you regularly emptying the memory cache? Consider clearing it once instead of continuously. Is Metro Exodus running with RTX enabled? What are your graphics-related configurations? Are your drivers and system firmware current? Did you install GPU, motherboard, and BIOS updates manually, or did Windows handle them automatically? Have you run a DDU process to reinstall graphics drivers via GeForce Experience?
My RAM cache is cleaned regularly, and it seems to be working fine since I haven’t encountered problems in other games under this setting. My GPU drivers are up-to-date, installed via GeForce Experience, and the BIOS was recently updated. I’m using a genuine Windows 10 copy with all latest updates applied. Regarding game settings, I’ve tested every low and extreme configuration, but stuttering still occurs. I also tried disabling Ultra Settings, RTX Off, and Hairworks, yet it didn’t resolve the issue. I doubt these adjustments will help much.
