I've tested both my EVGA 2070 super and 3070 FTW3 with the same average frame rate—generally around 45 to 55 fps. I used Riva Tuner to monitor usage, and my GPU remained steady at 0%, while my CPU reached full capacity.

The game runs smoothly at 60 frames per second. Is VSync enabled inside the game or through your graphics driver? Are you using an integrated graphics card that could affect performance?

You're on Elden Ring, but it's running poorly and limited to 60 frames per second.

Thanks for your patience. The engine kept going with Elden Ring open, and it’s now clearly showing GPU usage.

The tracking program isn't working properly; with the GPU off, no picture appears at all

Elden Ring's ray tracing demands significant processing power without upscaling options like DLSS or FSR. Even with a 4080 processor, achieving 4K at 60 fps remains challenging. The visual improvements are minimal—shadows appear slightly sharper on medium and higher settings, and ambient occlusion on leaves is marginally better across all levels. At medium settings, shadow detail doesn't noticeably increase, only the overall shadow range changes. Unless you own a 4090 for 4K or a 4080 for 1440p, it's usually better to disable ray tracing. The performance cost often outweighs the benefits in this title.
