I built my main machine recently and installed a Delta TEC last week. The setup includes an Intel 10900k processor, an EK custom water loop with several radiators, and a 360FLT pump/res combo. I’m planning to upgrade the GPU cooling soon. My current specs are: Asus Maximus XII Extreme 64GB GSKill DDR3 3200 RAM (4 sticks), 1600W EVGA P2 power supply, and a Corsair 1000d case. Before the TEC, overheating was a problem because the package would get too hot before the water block could dissipate heat. After installing the TEC, I managed a stable 5.0GHz overclock at 1.4V per core. Now I’m trying to understand what settings work best—especially since BIOS overclocking doesn’t seem necessary. I suspect the cooling software stays in standby until you activate it, which causes the package to overheat before you can start it. I hope it retains the latest configuration on reboot. After some adjustments, I plan to focus on Intel XTU overclocking and will test various parameters if needed.
