I just purchased an EK Predator 360 with the "Vardar" fans, and I'm wondering... are those Vardar fans effective or should I switch to the cougar CFD because the cougar ones have LED lighting and I want my rig to look stylish? What are the main differences between the two fans? (I'm specifically looking for three 120mm models of each.) And I've seen many reviews about the cougar CFD, all positive, which made me curious about replacing the Vardar fans.

The Vardar fans were made for EK radiators, didn't you think? Did EK probably toss the fans in the air and picked the one that landed nearest to the center? Those blades create a 3.16 static pressure, and EK matched them to the radiator for success.

The Cougar fans are simply case fans—you can attach them to a radiator, but they weren't built specifically for that purpose.

EK didn’t rush into All in One cooling; they always choose the top options, I believe.

What you decide is up to you!

I would retain the Vardar fans, though that's just my opinion. I don't like LEDs. During my testing, they performed well and were very quiet.

Not completely confident. To be sure, I'd need to purchase a pair and test them in the watercooling lab, which would take me a few days but give me a clear understanding within a couple of hours. Do you have a link?

Vardar supporters demonstrate a nearly 2:1 static pressure benefit at the same CFM.

I have a personal preference for the Vardar supporters in the Predator...I wouldn't switch them for anything...they really excel.
