Hi everyone, I'm facing some performance issues with stuttering on my laptop when using an eGPU. My setup includes an MSI GS65 Stealth Thin 8RF Intel Core i7-8750H processor with Intel HD Graphics, a Nvidia GTX 1070 (dGPU) and an Nvidia RTX 2080 Super (eGPU). I'm running Windows 11 Pro Insider. Recently, I upgraded to an Akitio Node Pro TB3 eGPU enclosure and paired it with the RTX 2080S. Despite the changes, I still experience noticeable stuttering during games and stress tests. After some online research, I suspect Nvidia Optimus might be the cause. Disabling the dGPU seems to help, but I don't want to turn off both the iGPU and dGPU since I need the dGPU for encoding in Stream Labs while gaming. I'm looking for suggestions—perhaps a program that keeps a light load on the 1070 GPU all the time? Something like an OpenGL utility that runs background rendering. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
