I prefer Edge since it lets me surf longer. But sometimes it feels a bit unstable on certain sites. On YouTube, fullscreen opens slowly, and some pages require a refresh before working. I’m running an i5 8th gen, with 8 gigabytes RAM and 10 megabits internet speed.

The Windows Store / UWP Edge app doesn't fully meet HTML5 standards, especially with older HTML versions. Try a modern Chromium-based browser, Firefox, or Chrome for a smoother experience.

Have you explored Edge Dev? https://www.microsoftedgeinsider.com/en-us/ It’s the latest Chromium version of the Edge browser, honestly I think it’s the top choice.

I downloaded the Edge dev, but I'm curious about its battery usage.

Edge Chromium offers improved battery use compared to Chrome, yet native browsers such as Edge UWP or Safari on iOS still provide the best power efficiency. The choice depends on balancing standards compliance with energy savings.
