I used an HDD, switched to an SSD, and installed Windows 10. After updates, I tried downloading drivers but got a "page not responding" error. No progress when trying to go to Edge.

Windows 10 doesn't come with built-in drivers for your network equipment. You'll require a different machine.

You don’t need to set up drivers on a USB from another machine first, then transfer them to your SSD drive.

Yes, you need drivers to operate the device. Was it a ready-made unit?
