ID released DOOM 3 with a mix of expectations during its launch. Many videocards struggled to run it initially, but the fourth version is set for an open beta soon. There’s still uncertainty about the final specs, and I’m keeping a careful eye on the situation since recent closed beta updates seem promising for performance.

Doom 3 challenged the capabilities of hardware, yet I'm confident the 970 can manage it. The situation has evolved.
