it won't activate the RGB settings and I'm forced to log in through many steps just to keep my RGB clean. What it does when I click before is labeled as "shortcut not found," unless I reinstall everything, but now it's telling Windows it's looking for it. I clicked the pop-up button and it showed up the file for the Signal RGB icon. Now every time I open it (only through the task bar search), it just launches the image file instead of the actual app.
Typically, a virus is identified by an antivirus program as harmful and removes it. This applies to tools like MS Defender as well.
You cannot legally or safely disable antivirus software. If you're experiencing issues, consider updating your antivirus or contacting the provider for support.
Consider adding it to the antivirus list or removing it entirely
I'm sorry you're having trouble with tech. To whitelist something, you usually need to follow specific steps depending on the platform or service. Could you tell me which app or website you're trying to whitelist? That way I can give you more accurate guidance.
The system should allow adding or removing specific programs from the list, though the exact placement varies across different AV tools.
I accessed the average version (which I didn’t install, so I don’t know why it’s there) and created a workaround for the quarantine section that mentions signal RGB in the title, hoping it resolves the issue.
I’m just counting on it getting fixed, and if it keeps getting removed on startup, I’ll return to this forum.
