Each match I play causes FPS drops and lag spikes

Here are your details clearly: you're running an R5 5600X with a GTX 1660, 16GB RAM, and 3200MHz RAM. You experience noticeable FPS drops every 10 seconds, making it hard to use the PC for its intended purpose. Your graphics drivers are current, and even at low settings you still see frame drops. Execute HWMonitor in the background for a short period and observe the readings. Have you experimented with various games or performed a restart?

Most games are similar except for a few. I’ll mention Fortnite, Poppy Playtime, and Overwatch 2. Generally, everything is on low or medium settings.

I plan to run that program and have tested several games. It has been happening continuously for over a year since its creation, resulting in numerous restarts.

Consider removing your side panel and testing for another 10 minutes to assess the situation. It seems your PC might be overheating, as this issue hasn’t occurred with other devices.
