I don’t see any issues with it. Usually, I buy an EA game, play it for a few weeks, and then stop using it.

The $30/year subscription unlocks entry to multiple games simultaneously. It's an alternative choice for those who prefer not to commit, though EA isn't immediately discontinuing game sales due to the large audience that would be affected by such a shift.

My personal perspective doesn't seem to view this negatively. I didn't dive too deeply into the article, but what stood out was that losing access to all content when you stop paying is a concern. I'm thinking about it—after all, if you cancel your subscription, you lose everything, even if you've already paid a lot.

Pay $30 each year for any EA game? I’ll sign you up. Or would you prefer spending $60 per game instead?

It's not clear how this works. You can enjoy several games each year for just $30. If you commit to a five-year subscription, you'll likely be able to play many more games for $150, whereas buying traditional titles would limit you to 2-3 per year. (More if you consider deals on Steam.) If it functions perfectly, it could be amazing for many people. The issue is that I haven't bought many EA games myself, so I might stop if there are no better options.
