DVD Drive vanishes once you insert a DVD! Assistance required!
Over the past weeks, whenever I insert a DVD, the drive vanishes from My Computer. This issue prevents me from opening any discs and stopping me from playing older games. While the DVD drive functions normally when inserted into my PC—spinning and ejecting correctly—I notice it works fine in the DVD drive itself but fails to load properly on the computer screen. The green progress bar appears, then disappears after a while, and eventually the drive disappears during refresh. Could anyone assist with this problem? Thank you!
