During installation, I encounter a problem when trying to use a USB drive.
I attempted to set up Windows on my new machine using a USB drive. I reached the step where I have to pick the hard drive, but it doesn’t appear and it says my computer lacks drivers. I’ve already updated the Intel chip driver, but I’m confused about what to do next. I’ve been working on this for about 12 hours. Please help me out!
Details? Any new components? Are all connections secure? Do your storage devices receive power?
i5 9600k with Asus GTX1060 and 6GB RAM, MSI Z390 gaming edge AC, 16GB DDR4, 3000MHz SSD, 860GB Evo storage. All set myself.
Navigate to the troubleshooting section of the Windows setup and then access the command prompt by typing "diskpart" followed by "list volume list disk" to view the results.
The system displays disk 0 and either disk 1 or 2, but cannot proceed since the installation was removed from the USB.
The disks are displayed as well. Select disk 0, choose partition, and check if cleaning has any effect.
