When starting specific games, they sometimes freeze and you can't use shortcuts like alt-tab or control keys. This forces you to power off and on your PC, which is frustrating. I think it's not just overheating, but maybe the pirate version of Windows could be causing the issue. Your system specs are: GTX 980, i7-4790K, 16GB RAM.

Are you using the latest Nvidia driver (version 364.47)? This update is leading to severe problems such as crashes, freezes, black screens, blue screens, and other complications. Nvidia has removed this driver and advises users to either revert to an older version or install the most recent beta release.
