No one else seems able to reach Duckdns.org. It appears to be offline or undergoing maintenance. I rely on it to connect to Nextcloud on my Unraid server, which is currently unavailable.

1.1.1.1 is a Cloudflare DNS service that is free to use. Updated note: for IPv4 it supports 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1, while for IPv6 it offers 2606:4700:4700::1111 and 2606:4700:4700::1001.

It's interesting to note that you've discovered you can sign up for an SSL certificate using DuckDNS through Let's Encrypt.

Actually, I wasn't aware of that. I assumed you needed control over the main domain to get a certificate. Usually, sub-domain requests need permission from the parent domain owner, which is shown through the registrar's WHOIS list. Nice to learn this!
