Dual boot question
Dual boot question
I just wanted to share a quick update. I now have a fully working fresh install of 7 and 10 on separate SSDs. I don’t want to repeatedly press F12 six times each time I start up to reach my main Windows 10 installation. If I leave it unchanged, with both drives connected, the system shows a warning that no boot device is selected. I used to rely on EasyBCD, but I think it was the issue last time—probably because I unplugged the 7 drive once and it broke everything. I’m worried about using EasyBCD again without knowing its limits, especially when dealing with OS drives. Is there a more native method for dual booting that doesn’t require going through the motherboard’s boot manager every time?
I feel like I'm a bit lost reading my own thread for answers, so is the consensus that using EasyBCD is the best (or only?) way to get a UI that asks me which ssd to boot from?
