Hy. Yes, it should work. You can install macOS Sierra on the second SSD while keeping Windows 10 on the primary SSD. If you normally boot into Windows but switch to the second SSD in BIOS/UEFI and select it, you'll boot into macOS.

Yes, I succeeded. Just switch the boot device whenever you need to update the operating system.

I have a bootable USB drive and configured the BIOS to use AHCI. When I choose USB and Boot MacOS, I get stuck at the Apple logo, only a small part loads and it doesn’t proceed further.

Checking for a reinstall, have you configured your BIOS properly? Share your specifications. Were you able to set up UniBeast correctly?
