Hi everyone, I'm new here and facing a problem. Yesterday everything worked fine with Dropbox, but now when I open the app it shows an error message. It also appears during uninstallation. I don’t understand what happened and would really appreciate any help you can give me. I use Dropbox for work, and it’s really frustrating since I can’t get it to function properly. Thanks!

Have you checked the folder to confirm its presence? Have you attempted a fresh installation?

Hi, I noticed it's still there. After the failed uninstall attempt, I manually removed the folder and reinstalled Dropbox, but it still doesn't work.

You receive an error message. Clicking the .exe file directly does not launch it; it may trigger a warning or crash depending on the context.

According to the first screenshot, it's not just Dropbox; many of my programs can't open now.

You, my friend, face more significant challenges. Here’s a straightforward step you can attempt: Set up a new account. Sign in as that user, observe which applications function or fail. There could be a damaged profile.

I attempted, but all the programs that didn’t work on profile A also fail on profile B. I’m really confused and don’t understand why it got corrupted.
