You're dealing with a Windows 7 setup on your Asus X550CA laptop, but you're stuck without the necessary drivers for newer devices. It sounds like you've taken some smart steps by partitioning and booting Windows 7, yet still facing challenges with internet access and device compatibility. I'm here to help you navigate this situation. Have you considered reaching out to the manufacturer's support team directly? They might have specific guidance or solutions tailored to your model. Also, checking community forums or tech support pages for similar issues could provide valuable insights. Let me know if you'd like tips on contacting their support or troubleshooting further.

But you mentioned checking everything. It seems like you might be overlooking something important. They aren’t listed there.

http://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks..._Download/ - So you've installed most of the drivers from here? Including Wireless, Lan, Chipset, Utilities -> ATKACPI driver and hotkey-related utilities, USB 3 drivers etc ? Edit: There's also some kind of "Asus Live Update" under Utilities, have you checked that one out ?

Chipset file available for download. Audio drivers and card reader instructions provided. USB 3.0 support details included. ATKACPI utilities and hotkey tools accessible. Intel management interface driver offered. Intel Rapid Storage Technology version listed. Intel Graphics driver specifications given. VGA support information attached. I cannot share links without knowing the adapter your notebook includes.

That's great! I was only checking for names in the Device Manager, so I overlooked everything else. I'm glad you found the WiFi and Bluetooth drivers. Thanks again!

@ GeekThief I wouldn't use Intel drivers that Asus provides. OEMs don't really update their downloads unless there's a problem.
