Hello everyone, welcome back and it’s great to see you again. I’m new here and really need some guidance if possible. Here’s what my setup looks like: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit 24H2 MSI B550-a PRO (A.J1, latest version) AMD Ryzen 5 5600G (4.1GHz, still has issues at base speed) 2x16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM DDR4 (downclocked to 3600MHz) ASUS Dual AMD Radeon 7800XT 16GB x2 1TB WDBlack SN850X 1TB (one used as boot drive) 1TB Samsung 870 QVO SATA SSD NZXT C750 Gold (80+ Gold). As the name suggests, I’m facing GPU problems and not sure what to do. I’ve tried several fixes: re-seating GPU, lowering CPU and RAM speeds, updating drivers via DDU in safe mode, updating BIOS, and even reinstalling Windows. I’m feeling really stuck and would appreciate any advice or overlooked steps. Also, I just got a GTX 1660 for testing and ran into the same black screen issue while playing World of Warcraft. Thanks for your help! Edit: I borrowed a GTX 1660 to check.

It seems there might be some driver conflicts due to the integrated graphics in your 5600G. Clearing the igpu drivers and installing a dedicated GPU driver could resolve the issue. Also, ensure your motherboard BIOS is up to date. If these steps don’t help, let me know!

I understand the GPU problem isn’t unique to your setup. Should we consider upgrading to the 5800X3D or moving to an AM5 socket once you have the funds?

Turn off the integrated GPU on the CPU using Device Manager or BIOS settings. Re-test; if issues persist, try another display cable or a different monitor.

I have turned off the iGPU, I'll provide an update later. The monitor and other components seem to be functioning properly, thanks for your advice.
