I recently acquired a 1440p monitor and about half the time (previously full) when switching out of games or other exclusive fullscreen apps, my GPU driver would crash or fail and cause the game to stop. I’m pretty sure the issue stems from the second monitor being 1080p. What options do I have to resolve this? (I won’t use borderless fullscreen.) I’ve tried: cleaning the Windows install, disabling MPO, turning off both monitors in Device Manager. It’s unclear if this setup matters, but here are the details: CPU 7800X3D, GPU 7700XT, 32GB RAM, 6000MHz, mainboard MSI PRO B650-P, Wi-Fi PSU, 850W monitor. Monitors: AOC Agon PRO AG276QZD2 (1440p, 240Hz QD-LED) and Noname 1080 at 60Hz.

The crash log indicates a failure in registering the server component with DCOM before the allowed time limit.
