Driver issue with RTX3090 at 566.36, try 576.80
Hello, I’m currently using the 566.36 drivers with my RTX 3090. Recently, a major driver crash occurred, causing several programs to fail too. After restarting into Windows 11 (which also installed an update), I reviewed the logs but didn’t identify the exact cause. I’m keeping 566.36 because it appears less advantageous compared to the latest versions, which seem mainly tuned for RTX 5000 models. My i7-10700K is also in play, and I’m worried newer drivers might increase CPU load on older CPUs like mine. I used to run the 572.x drivers, but while using MSFS 2024 I saw much higher CPU usage than before—so I reverted to a more stable driver version for the 3090. Please let me know if my approach is incorrect or if there are other factors I should consider about driver and CPU interactions.
