Hey there, I recently got an older PC for a reasonable price and it functioned perfectly. I started downloading AMD drivers for my GPU, which is where things got tricky. After installing the drivers, my GPU stopped sending any signal to the TV via HDMI. It no longer recognizes the display. I've tried resetting the CMOS, re-seating the GPU, updating Windows on a new SSD, checking all drivers, reinstalling them, and even using an HDMI cable with another TV. My Xbox worked fine on a different screen, but the signal disappeared again. After reading several forums, I changed the BIOS settings, disconnected all cables, grounded the PC, reset the TV, and cleaned the GPU. Interestingly, the DVI port is still working, so it seems like the issue is software-related. My system details are: ASUS B85 Pro, Intel i5-4670, Radeon R9 280X, 16GB DDR3 RAM. I've tried everything I could think of to fix it, including updating drivers and cleaning everything, but nothing worked. Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Update the device information on your Mobo.
Install the newest drivers available for AMD.
Verify your card with the manufacturer for an official Vbios update.
Advanced: Use User TechPowerUp and the AMD vbios flash tool—search for the right model, apply the latest version, and test functionality.
If your GPU has a defective HDMI port, consider trying a DisplayPort connection instead.

It seems to function without the drivers, using the basic Microsoft driver. The signal may become weaker at higher resolutions, possibly due to a damaged cable, HDMI port, or Redriver issue. Did this card perform previously?

Thanks for the update. Just placed an order for a DP cable, and if it doesn’t work, I’ll heed your suggestion.

I completely understand your perspective, but it functioned flawlessly before the crash using the identical cable and configuration. That’s quite puzzling for me. As I noted, I reinstalled a brand-new W10 version on a fresh SSD, along with the standard drivers, yet no output was detected. Appreciate your help and guidance.
