Planning to switch from Windows 7 to 10 soon, you're wondering which drivers fit your board on Windows 10. The GA-Z68XP-UD3P currently supports 7 and 8.1, but it doesn’t show up on the Gigabyte site—though that might not be a major problem. Should I stick with the 8.1 drivers for 10 or wait for Gigabyte to release updates for more boards? A quick email to Gigabyte confirmed some users have upgraded successfully, so it’s worth checking if they’re still available.

I’d wait a few days until GB finishes creating a driver for your motherboard.

They likely will release the updated driver soon, so wait a bit before upgrading the OS. If it’s necessary, hold off until you’re confident the drivers won’t interfere.

Hold on, even with Win8 support, updating all drivers to Win10 would be complicated and might not function perfectly.

It looks like you're happy with the wait time and have mixed feedback about Windows 10 so far.

You filed a request to Gigabyte regarding the expected arrival of drivers, but the reply wasn’t very helpful. You’re thinking about whether it’s worth giving up and switching to a newer system since the Z68 chipsets seem outdated.
