Driver for graphics card software
Hi there, I hope you're doing well. I recently bought all the necessary components for my first PC build, and everything proceeded smoothly. But whenever I attempt to launch a game, I consistently encounter a black screen or loading issue. My computer frequently reports that my graphics card drivers are outdated, even though I’ve downloaded the latest version from the AMD website (which is because I have an AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT). Despite installing it, it still flags as outdated.
At first, when I tried to install the driver, my PC would freeze, and I had to perform a hard shutdown after over two hours of staring at the frozen screen. After that, I just installed the driver again and it worked fine. I’m wondering if there’s something I’m missing or did something wrong during the process.
I’ve run SFC to check for corrupted files, verified my game files on Steam, checked for RAM or SSD issues, reinstalled the GPU driver multiple times, tried reducing startup programs, deleted and reinstalled the GPU drivers several times, lowered graphics settings, rolled back the driver in Device Manager, updated it again, and even went through the events log. Still, nothing seems to resolve the problem.
I also have Windows 11 installed at the latest version, and I’ve tried adjusting the graphics settings. Could you help me figure out what’s going on?
First thing to do when you suspect a driver issue issue is run DDU and reinstall the drivers.
