Dram XMP setting leading to reboots upon CPU upgrade
Hello, I'm trying to figure out if the problem lies with the board or the CPU. I recently purchased a 9900K and swapped in an 8700K. I'm using a Z370 chipset board and updated the BIOS to support 9th gen/8-core processors. The 8700K worked fine for setting my RAM XMP profile to 3000MHz, but now after upgrading the CPU, my PC keeps restarting and I can't access the BIOS. Every time I change something, I have to remove the CMOS battery to reset the motherboard.
