I built a new PC but didn’t verify motherboard compatibility with the RAM. The CPU and GPU are QVL, yet the RAM isn’t officially supported. After reaching out to the supplier, they confirmed it should work. When I power on, fans and RGB activate, but the RAM turns on QLED mode instead of the CPU QLED. I’ve removed everything except the CPU, cooler, RAM, and power connector. The issue seems to lie elsewhere. I attempted clearing CMOS and flashing BIOS, but the system still fails to boot past POST. What part might be causing this? How can I figure it out further?

Mr obvious here but. 1 ram stick in the correct slot A2 Remove GPU plug into the onboard graphics on the mobo. Power. CPU plugs, 24 pin thats it rest unplug (I know ya said ya did this but) Try again power it on. AMD memory training is fun can take a while some times its like training a puppy in that its gonna bite you more often than not See it that gets you to post if it does shut down swap the memory modules try again. This gets you so you know if your memory working. if not Check ya cpu seating pins pads etc etc. hopefully this will get you going if not clever buggers will be along soon to help. Good luck

Alright. I don't think you got it flashed. Download 2704, format your usb stick to fat32. Rename the bios file using the renamer tool. https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-st...desk_bios/ Make sure to use the port that says bios on it. If nothing happens when pressing and holding the bios button, then clear CMOS. You can also try with one stick in slot A2 for faster memory training. Make sure to plug in your monitor to the GPU. After flashing the bios PC will restart at least twice before anything is shown on screen. Bios flashing from usb is done when its stops blinking. Normally takes 5 min or so.

He has finally arrived. Doctornick has assisted me several times before, even though his name doesn<|pad|> to seem uncertain, he is a doctor and you're in safe hands.

Thanks for your feedback. It seems the issue persists even after updating to version 2704. The DRAM debug lights up during boot, then the CPU QLED takes over about 10 seconds after startup. I'm unsure if the RAM is the problem or if another component, like the CPU cooler or a stuck RAM module, is causing the blinking.

You had to wait a short time before it finished. Once it stopped blinking, the system loaded properly. There were some debug lights to watch until everything was done.

Consider using MEMTEST86 on a USB drive to isolate and evaluate your memory modules in another machine. If both function correctly, the problem likely lies with your motherboard or CPU compatibility.

It turned out to be just an ASUS AM5 motherboard issue. After restarting multiple times (over five), the memory training worked, and I had to repeat the same steps for another set of RAM sticks. Now everything is functioning properly.
