Dram RGB
Dram RGB
Hello, I'm using a Kingston HyperX FURY RGB (HX437C19FB3A/8) with an I9-11900K processor. When I enable the RGB sync with other RGB parts through Armory Crate, it consumes around 1.7-2.5% CPU usage—similar to what you'd see with many open tabs on Google. Turning it off causes the system to hang, but removing Armory Crate works fine in normal backlight mode and still syncs properly. DRAM RGB can indeed use that much CPU power, which seems unusual. It might be a bug or an optimization issue. I’m curious if there’s a way to reduce its load without affecting performance. My motherboard is Z590-E.
This appears typical, I experienced comparable usage with the Asus Aura previously.
I always emphasize that hardware makers aren't software developers, so it's wise to avoid installing unnecessary bloatware.
