Everything was working properly until suddenly the whole system stopped unexpectedly. There was a CPU light that also briefly lit up, along with the DRAM indicator. It seems like my old PC was being replaced, but the power supply unit stayed the same and still produced the same results. Could a PSU be responsible for this issue? This is the only consistent part of the build.

Hello there, new member!
I replaced my old PC and swapped everything except the power supply unit to the new one, but the results stayed the same. Could a PSU be responsible for this?
You didn’t mention the brand and model of your PSU, nor its age.

Sorry about that, it seems to be an EVGA 750 gold model, likely around two years old.

Updated PSU and system restarted. It didn’t work with the new CPU. The setup wouldn’t boot at all using the old CPU and PSU, so it likely shut down before attempting.
