New build featuring a 7950X3D, ROG STRIX B650E-F, and 64 GB DDR5 Flare X5 from GSKIL. The DRAM lights up when power is turned on and remain active for a few seconds before fading, allowing the system to boot. I've updated the BIOS to the latest version (as of 8/10/2023) and reinserted the RAM in separate slots (two sticks). It's causing some issues—it's quite bothersome. The PC doesn't have an OS or GPU installed yet.

It will likely cease to function as intended. The previous attempt three years ago failed, yet it performed perfectly, which was surprising.

When memory context restore is enabled, it shouldn't require 20 seconds, though it may briefly illuminate for a few seconds. This feature isn't available on every board, so it might not be applicable. It's likely your initial setup didn't support it because you used DDR4, which trains memory faster than DDR5.

Yes, memory context restoration is typically handled in the BIOS settings, not directly in the OS.

It should be located in the BIOS settings. I don’t know exactly where ASUS stores it anymore since I haven’t used an ASUS AM5 board after Memory Context Restore. From what I recall with the Gigabyte board, it’s under the AMD Overclocking menu in Tools, then in the DRAM sub-menu. The ASUS BIOS likely has a search function to locate that setting, though results may vary depending on how well it indexes.
