My Z790 UD AX only displays the DRAM LED during startup. I've installed RAM in the second, fourth, and first slots. Also tested with first and second slot and just the first slot. My RAM is a 32GB Corsair Vengeance schwarz DDR5-5600 DIMM CL36 Dual Kit.

The manual suggests placing the memory module in slot A2 instead of A1 when installing just one. Test both modules to ensure they start up correctly. You may need to wait a short time after the first boot—sometimes up to a minute—for everything to function properly.
