Hello everyone from Italy. I’m building my new pc, here the components I choose: MOBO: MSI B660M MORTAR WI-FI CPU: i7 12700k RAM: G.Skill 3200 MHz CL16 2x16GB SSD: SAMSUNG M2 860 EVO GPU: MSI VENTUS 3080Ti Yesterday night I built everything up but I’m experiencing a couple of major issues: 1) if I put one of my RAM in the A channel, the PC can’t boot (but Fans start blinking and spinning) and EZ DEBUG LED: start blinking red(cpu) and orange(RAM) alternatively. if I only use channel B everything is fine 2) the M2 SSD can’t be detected I think I will try changing my MOBO and then CPU. What do you think is causing this? Anyone else is experiencing something similar? p.s. GPU is working because if I connect HDMI to it I can see the bios (only using channel B for Ram) but there isn’t any sign of the GPU in BIOS setting, is it normal? (I’m quite a Noob) thanks a lot

For optimal performance, use slots A2 and B2 on your CPU. Your Samsung 860 Evo SSD is a SATA SSD. The top M.2 slot (M2_1) is designed for NVMe drives only. Install the SSD into the lower M.2 slot (M2_2).

It seems the SSD might be the issue, so I'll switch to slot 2. Regarding the RAM, the problem appears to occur when using specific configurations—A2B2 or A1B1 won't boot at all, but B1B2 does. It looks like mono can't properly recognize the devices connected to channel A.

I have completed the task and it seems there is no bent pin present.

Updated: On the 10th of August, I attempted to change the CPU, but I'm still facing the same problems. I plan to replace the motherboard tomorrow and will update you then.
