Are there any users testing the latest version? Over 1400 positive and just 88 negative reviews—about 90% of the latter are crash reports. Seems interesting, but I’m still undecided today.

Thread title updated. Still reviewing feedback. Fast travel added for PC? No clear details available. Angry Je comment mentions a large map and excessive movement.

It seems you're satisfied with the Jack Sparrow version. I'm all for sticking with it!

This game works well and feels just like the original. The expansion adds value, making it a solid purchase. I'm playing on tough settings and it's really challenging.

Thanks everyone, I’m planning to grab it this evening. I’ve been searching for a KOA:Reckoning sequel for quite some time!

It's a fairly reliable port. Performance is smooth. Graphics settings are good with options like FOV adjustment. Works nicely with keyboard, mouse, and controllers. AI chatter can be disabled. Teleportation items are more affordable. Doesn't work with ultrawide displays (the HUD gets cut off). Some items appear even when the maximum view distance is reached but aren't very noticeable. Only one save file available. The Pawn system doesn't provide Rift Crystals when your AI is used by others; you can still use other players' companions, but they won't earn the currency from quests in their games. This shouldn't break gameplay as the design allows progress even offline, though some late-game items may become harder to buy until issues are fixed.

At level 30 it’s really enjoyable. It has a few weak spots, but overall it’s deep, tough, and looks much improved. Perfect for RPG lovers.
