I'm trying to obtain a driver update for my IGPU. The download speeds are extremely low—0 to 8 kilobytes per second. That’s unrealistic given my connection should support around 700 kbps. I’m certain my PC isn’t using much bandwidth, and the RJ45 is properly connected. No other sites are experiencing delays, so it’s likely my ISP isn’t throttling me. I’ve attached the file: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downloa...8-1-64-bit. My region is Europe, and the download is moving very quickly despite this. Can I get this file from another source?
I get it, downloading in just 7 seconds is fast, and using unofficial sites isn’t a smart move.
I understand the issue, but Intel's download isn't working properly. I'm using the official download manager widget. The download stopped after 1.1MB and only reached 5.1MB. It took about 10 minutes for that progress. I need 124MB. The same file from my browser has been stuck at 1760KB for the past 20 minutes. It's also taken a long time to install the Intel driver update tool. EDIT: I managed to get up to 7MB while typing. EDIT2:
It only raises my concern about a specific issue. Why would Intel act against me?
